i did not update the game here for a long time. I am going to update game with new version soon.

I would recommend to start anew, as new version is different and some issues with you save game may appear. Anyway you may try continue with your save. I recommend creating online backup of your save games. You may try how your save works in new version at https://debug.wizardbanished.com.
